Stavanger, Norway - July 2016: The harbour 'Vaagen' and quayside shops, bars and restaurants of the former sea houses
The innermost area of Stavanger Harbour is surrounded by old timber-framed buildings formerly sea houses used to load and unload ships which came right up to them before the quayside was built out reducing the area of water. The sea houses are now shops, bars and restaurants. The dramatic sky and threatening clouds are typical for western Norway with its wet climate.
