Hellenistic Pilos type helmet,4th - 3rd century Bronze. Of conical form with short apex and a broad rim below a dividing ridge. Height 22 cm,weight 832 g. Green-blue patina with soil encrustation,further details probably hidden beneath the corrosion. The lower edge with one hairline crack.
