The upper bodies of three Furies (Erinyes to the Greeks) appear in the upper left corner. Two of them hold snakes with open mouths. Three winged and taloned Harpies appear in the upper right corner, facing right. Death steps or crouches over three human figures huddled in the lower right corner.
