A large specimen, mutilated,comes from station 5084, off Omai Saki Light (20 to 40 miles distant),N. 29i° E., 41 miles (lat. 34° N.; long. 137° 49 40 E.), at a depthof 918 fathoms, which I have doubtfully referred to this —344 fathoms; 244 fathoms; 482 fathoms; 135 fathoms; 247 fathoms; 426 fathoms; 1,046. Body narrow, elongate, aboutfour times as long as broad, 4mm.: 15| mm. Surface of bodyrugose, with the anterior and pos-terior margins of all the segmentsfurnished with a row of covered with low tu-bercles. Head a little wider than long,\\ mm.; 2 mm. Front deeplyexcavate, with the antero-lateralangles produced. There is a smallmedian point. The eyes are large,round, composite, and paced closeto the lateral margin, about half-way between the anterior and theposterior margins. The rugositieson the posterior half of the headform two Ioav elevations, one oneither side of the median first pair of antennae have thebasal article
