Local community members and civic leaders met with members of the 127th Wing Wednesday during a scoping meeting at the Wheeler Community Center in Clinton Township, Mich. to discuss F-35 basing at Selfridge. The meeting, a component of the Air Force’s environmental impact study, provided a forum to collect public comments and concerns regarding the F-35 bed down though Selfridge was not one of the two bases selected as a preferred alternative to base the F-35, the base is still considered a reasonable alternative.
