Read This Before Buying Roses Anywhere We are one of the very few seedsmen who sell Roses grown on their '"Own ; We do not sell Budded or Grafted Rose Bushes. Our reason is this: Fully ninety per cent, of grafted or budded roses throw out suckers from the roots, which in time predominate the plant, and all you get is either a non-flowering bush, or a lot of wild-flower looking roses. Most bench-grown roses should never be used at any price as theyare in variably florists'discardedbushesthathaveoutgrown their blooming usefulness. This does not occur with own-root roses. In our opinion it would pay7 you to pay for an own-root rose, rather than grow budded or grafted stock. Cost but a few cents more than the widely advertised bench-grown' varieties of grafted bushes.
