From this, and during his fathers life-time, Sir Alexander had his title from these Rannoch estates, as Sir AlexanderMenzies of Rannoch; thus his name is attached to many of the bonds of manrent,as a witness, in the Cronikil of Fothergill ?iX\A other documents of that period.
