Waldorf Synthesizer. This is a Waldorf Q rack, a 16 part multi-trimbal analog synthesizer. It has 16 voices, expandable to 32 voices. Analog synthesizers produce sound when electrical voltages are manipulated. This product was made by Waldorf Electronics in Germany, a company founded by Wolfgang Duren in 1988. Waldorf produced a wide range of synthethizers and other equipment for use in music production and performance. The company declared insolvency in 2004.
