The top of Stelvio Pass in Italy - One of the greatest driving roads in the world
Voted Top Gear's World's Greatest Road in 2008. The famous Swiss side shown in the photograph is a mecca for petrolheads. During the summer months its crammed full of campervans, bikers, motorbikes, cars and buses. Making it impossible for petrolheads to truly experience this road. My recommendation is stay at one of the hotels open at the top so you can have your early morning blast and get to experience the road almost as much as Top Gear did.
