A pair of flintlock pistols, Johann Andreas Kuchenreuter, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1780 Octagonal barrels transforming into round, finely rifled bores in 12 mm calibre with silver spider front sights. On barrel tops tendril-shaped silver inlays and signatures "I. CHRISTOPH KUCHENREUTER" and silver-lined rider's marks. Lightly cut flintlocks with set triggers and engraved signatures "Joh. Andre Kuchenreiter". Carved walnut stocks with horn nosepieces and smooth brass furnitures. Original wooden ramrods with horn tips. Length 42 cm each.
