Iglesia de los Santos Juanes is one of the oldest church's in Valencia. It is located next to the Central Market (Mercado Central). The first church was built in 1240 on the site of an old mosque. It was subsequently modified in the 14th and 16th centuries in the Gothic style. There was a major fire in 1552 and the interior of the church was completely refurbished. The Baroque element was carried out in the 17th century.
