Little Plumpton, Blackpool, UK. 8th March 2017. Over 200 anti-fracking protesters gathered at the Cuadrilla shale gas exploration site on Preston New Road today after Manchester High court granted the renewal of their previous injunction which had lapsed. The protesters gathered after recent videos surfaced on Facebook of aggressive policing. One video shows a police officer pushing an elderly lady to the ground. A group of protesters played drums at the entrance to the site. Deliveries to the site appear to have been halted today. Credit: Dave Ellison/Alamy Live News

Three anti-fracking nanas hold their banner beside a van belonging to the Operation Support Unit who have been accused of using brutal and aggressive tactics against the handful of protesters that protest at the site each day.
