Fig. 2 illustrates the machine with thetable set at an angle, and the gages set at the proper angle formitering the joints of a six-sided figure. This makes a com- pound angle ordinarily extremely difficult to get and figureout; but owing to the fact that the top of the table and thegages themselves are graduated with extreme accuracy, andthe dial on the front of the machine (shown in Fig. 1) indi-cates the exact pitch of the table, work of this sort may be doneinstantly by any one. Fig. 3 illustrates the method of ripping stock on a bevel
