The South Park Bridge spans the Duwamish River, connecting the neighborhood’s main business district to Georgetown near Boeing Field. The bridge’s railings incorporate repurposed components from the original bridge by artist Barbara Grygutis. It opened to traffic in June 2014, replacing the old bridge that was closed permanently in 2010 due to its deterioration.
