Marion Post (1910-1990), US photographer. Official letter of introduction and notarized photograph for US photographer Marion Post (1910-1990). The letter dates from 3 August 1940 and now forms part of the collection of the Farm Security Administration (FSA), for whom Post and others worked in the 1930s and early 1940s, photographing the USA during and after the Great Depression. She is described here as 'principal photographer, Historical Section, Division of Information'. The FSA acting administrator who signed this letter was Calvin Benhan Baldwin (1902-1975), who had been appointed on 16 July 1940.
