Trustee Savings Bank emblem on an old bank building in Cardiff

The emblem of the Trustee Savings Bank picked out in stonework on an old building in Cardiff. Now a Costa coffee, the building is no longer a bank. LloydsTSB is in the process of resurrecting the TSB plc bank as a part of the conditions imposed by the EU following the state aid received by LloydsTSB as a part of the banking crisis. The deal with the Cooperative Banking Group to buy the 632 branches that will make up the TSB plc bank has recently fallen through, leaving Lloydstsb with the options of a stock market float of the new bank or finding another buyer.
