Over 12,000 runners competed in the Bupa London 10,000 run which started on The Mall in Westminster and finished outside Buckingham Palace. The race was won by Andy Vernon in a time of 29 minutes and 32 seconds with the women's category being won by Gemma Steel in a time of 32 minutes and 32 seconds.
