A green sign posted outside Nathan's in Coney Island, in Brooklyn, in New York on Saturday, November 10, 2012. The sign posted by the city states the building has been inspected and no apparent structural hazard was found. The destructive Hurricane pushed tons of sand inland with its storm surge as well as carrying destroyed property onto the beach, some of it from the devastated Rockaway Peninsula. Hundreds of volunteers organized by the NYC Mayor's office performed a day of service helping people in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Rockaway. (© Frances M. Roberts)
