In addition to the stub-end terminal facilities at theouter end of the pier, the terminal capacity of theGrand Avenue line, which has served the pier aloneheretofore, was greatly increased by the building of along and short loop in front of the pier. This will beused particularly during the pageant, as the crowd, inorder to see the exhibits, will leave the cars at the shoreend of the pier and walk down one side to the far end.
