I had not then known of thefact that these birds sometimes buildin prepared houses, and so thoughtthe bird only curious to see what wasinside. June 2, I saw some strawsprotruding through the doorway andasked one of my small brothers toclimb up and tell me what he , he said, there are no eggs, butlook what was in the nest.
