The railroad strike is, of course, having its effect on the trade in general. Prices continue about the same as last week. Various Notes. Mrs. E. A. Williams had the floral contributions at both the home and the Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial hall for the funeral of Dr. J. A. Brashear. Notable among the many ela^rate pieces designed in Mrs. Williams* estab- lishment was one for the American En- gineers' Society, composed of white roses, Easter lilies and lilies of the val- ley. There was also a magnificent wreath of bronze magnolia leaves and cattleya orchids, designed by Manager Harvey Sheaflf. Spiro Kaps is reported as being in a favorable condition, following an opera- tion in the Mayo hospital, Roche
