A grave is marked as unknown at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 16, 2021. Members of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) disinterred five caskets as part of the agency’s efforts to identify unknown service members lost during the Korean War. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
