If both scale andplant lice are present, de-fer the scale applicationmentioned above until thefirst green begins to appearin the buds, and add the nicotine solution above named for the aphids or plant lice, which arethen just hatched. 2. Spray with the sulphur and arsenate when the blossoms are justshowing pink, or slightly before. This is for scab, canker worms or the bud-moth. Also valuable against aphids and red-bugs if the nicotine solutionis added. 3. Repeat No, 2 immediately after the petals fall, to fill the calyx cups. 30.
