Royal Air Force- the Air Training Corps, 1941-1945. Two cadets steadying the wings of a Viking I glider while they learn the rudiments of engineless flight at the ATC's Gliding School at RNAS St Merryn, Cornwall. HMS VULTURE, the Fleet Air Arm Station, acted as parent unit to the school.
