Sedum roof with vents. The Office in the Park, Greenford, United Kingdom. Architect: Dannatt, Johnson Architects, 2015.

Inspired by Trevor Dannatt's 1958 Laslett house, Cambridge, The Office in the Park takes the form of a pavilion. Large office windows give views to the park and woodland. The cladding, in western red cedar, was used for its longevity and being un-coated the wood will weather to silver grey. The construction is steel framed with breathable timber panels containing re-cycled newsprint as logs from felled trees have been used on site to create habitats for insects.
