Sixmonths after the accident he hadnot recovered sufficiently to leavehis room, the horse in the mean-time running loose in a large stall,and so vicious that no one couldgo near him. This case was a goodsubject, and submitted to treat-ment readily in about twenty min-utes, being driven and handledwith as much success as case is referred to as No. 13in Subjection, in my book onthe horse. I could refer to a great many interesting cases where the char-acter had been spoiled by rough, bad treatment, and I found nohorses more susceptible to treatment than
