A percussion rifle, Störmer, Herzberg, circa 1830. Octagonal barrel with eight groove rifled bore in 15 mm calibre with a patent breechblock. Dovetailed front sight and a chiselled folding rear sight. Finely engraved tang. The breech has silver scrollwork and the gold filled mark "Störmer Herzberg". The percussion lock has a folding safety lever and is engraved with hunting themes and another signature. Set trigger. Walnut full stock with horn nose cap, checkered buttstock, and a patchbox.
