John Richardson^ {Caleh^^ JoJin^ Nathaniel^ Thom-«s^), only son of Caleb* and Elizabeth (Watts) Richardson;-born in Roxbury, Feb. 11, 1737; married, first, 1757, before arriv-ing at the age of twenty-one, Ruth Sawtell. She died Oct. 1,1764. Second, April 21, 1768, Rebecca Moore, daughter ofAbraham and Silence Moore, of Bolton. On his fathers removal from Roxbury to Bolton, which wasnot long previous to 1749, he doubtless removed with him. Hisfather and his fathers brothers had an interest in a township ofland which was known as Narraganset Township, No. 6, withinthe present County of Worcester, It was one of the seven town-ships granted by the legislature of Massachusetts, in 1728 and1732, to those soldiers, or their heirs, who had done service in. ^
