The Macquarie Big swim, 42nd annual big swim from Palm Beach to Whale Beach Sydney, a ocean swim which is part of the Pittwater Ocean swims series, competitors have a staggered start for males/females and for age bands. There is also a shorter 1km course. This is one of Australia's iconic ocean swims and attracts many male and female competitors.
