George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen, British Prime Minister, (1893). Prime Minister from 1852-1855, the Earl of Aberdeen (1784-1860) became unpopular due to his perceived mismanagement of the Crimean War (1852-1856) and was forced to resign in February 1855.
