2 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 13, 2017) A Mark 38 Mod 2 25 mm machine gun is fired during a live-fire exercise aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard (DDG 83). The ship is underway with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group on a scheduled deployment to the western Pacific and Indian Oceans.
