Frank P. Walsh, between 1911 and 1920. American lawyer Francis Patrick Walsh was an advocate of progressive causes, and championed improved working conditions, better pay for workers, and equal employment opportunities for all, including women. He sat on committees to investigate and report on working conditions, and called for independence for Ireland.
