A comparatively new variety that will prove a welcome addition for the filling of Fern-dishes. Its habit of growth is erect, it natu- rally forming shapely bushy plants, with deep green myrtle-like foliage; at various periods it flowers and fruits quite freely; the berries are about two-thirds the size of an Ardisia berry and turns to a bright red, which adds to the attractiveness of the plant.
