Portrait of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Ricords. Mr. Ricords was part of Mulford and Ricords, undertakers that could be found at 6 Second Street between Market and Chestnut. For their portrait they both wear long necklaces. Mrs. Ricords also wears rings, earrings, a large broach and holds something in her hand that could be a purse. Their cheeks and lips are colored with pink pigment. 'Waterbury, Conn. No. 842' is engraved in the bottom of the daguerreotype's frame. Title: Mr. and Mrs. James B. Ricords. . 1852. Thomas M.
