Granada, Andalusia, Spain - February 11th, 2018 : Commuters at the Alcazar Genil metro station designed by Spanish architect Antonio Jiménez Torrecillas and first opened on 2017. Nominated for the 2017 Mies van der Rohe Award for Contemporary Architecture, it was designed to adjust the modern construction with the XIII century remains of an Almohad naumachia found during the excavation of the site.
