Natural History Museum entrance. Cromwell Road facade and front entrance of the Natural History Museum, London, UK. This main building of the museum is known as the Waterhouse Building, after the British architect Alfred Waterhouse (1830-1905) who designed it. This building first opened its doors to the public on Easter Monday 1881.
