A pair of silver-mounted flintlock pistols, Jean Baptiste La Roche, Paris circa 1740 Blued two-stage barrels, octagonal then round, with smooth bores in mm calibre. On top of the barrels floral (slightly faded) gold inlays. Slightly engraved flintlocks with signature "LA ROCHE - A PARIS". Carved walnut stocks with floral silver furnitures in relief, each pommel shaped like the head of a bird of prey. Wooden ramrods with horn tips. Length 18 cm each.
