Pe-tersen, Jan. 31, 1876, and moved toMayfield, Utah, being one of the pio-neer settlers of that place. In 1888he was ordained a High Priest andacted as second counselor to BishopOle C. Olsen. In 1891-1893 he filleda mission to Scandinavia, presidingfifteen months over the Aarhus Con-ference, Denmark, and for nearly ayear was president of the Scandinav-ian Mission.
