Rubio works as a gas turbine systems mechanical engineer aboard Stout helping maintain the ship’s propulsion and electrical systems. Stout, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
