This energy efficient "monolithic dome" house is made using a vinyl dome and layers of foam.
Fans inflate the dome structure to allow foam to be sprayed inside to stabilize the structure. Additional layers of foam and steel make an energy efficient home. A final layer of plaster will be placed on top of the vinyl to protect it from the elements such as sun, rain and snow in Corvallis, Montana.
