Two generations of articulated tram cars meet at the fan of Rzhevka terminus in Saint Petersburg

This picture is one of the series I made during July-September 2015 aiming to photograph most of the sections and all types of the rolling stock operated at the Saint Petersburg tramway. This tram system, although dramatically suffered from route closures and track lifting in 1999-2007, and from technical and management points of view still seeming to be in the state of slow lapse, should definitely be referred to as one of the greatest in the World with 228 kms of route length and over 700 cars in the fleet.
