Each pump was built for opera-tion on full boiler pressure, and the sizes of the connectionsare: suction, 5 ins.; discharge, 4 ins.; steam supply, 2 ins.;steam outlet, 2J/z ins. The water cylinders were tested tightat 350 lbs. pressure per sq. in. The present generating equipment consists of two 500-kw,60-cycle, 2300-volt, two-pole, three-phase, 3600-r.
