She is the daughter of Mr. andMrs. Michael Dively, one of the pioneer Lutheran families. Hermembership dates back further than any other living member. Until the time of reorganization, in 1849, it is likely the con-gregation was not regularly supplied. They worshiped withthe Reformed congregation, having Lutheran pastors come fromthe neighboring charges at intervals. Many of their children,as they grew up, united with the Reformed Church. It is knownthat Michael Dively sent some of his children to Berlin to becatechized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. Upon the resignation of Rev. Lawson, the Rev. P. S. Nellis, pastor of the Wellersburg charge, supplied the congregation. On584 ST. JOHNS, ELK
