Mild pompholyx, a form of eczema, on the palm of the hand a 22 year old woman. This is acute form of eczema causes itchy blisters form over the palms and/or soles. The condition is also known as dyshidrotic eczema and often develops for no apparent reason. It is treated with an astringent which causes the skin to tighten and dry, or with corticosteroid drugs.
