It is but quite lately that communion as-sumed the appearance of a regular society here. A small eluirch was loimed, and ahouse of worship built in the lower end of the town, called the INeek, [now Bndge-valer society,] about 11 or 12 years ago; but they never had an elder settled overthem, and within a few years past they sold their house and chielly removed out otthe town.
