In a 28 mm specimen of D. camposensis, there is a large bone (Fig. 16B) on both sides of the body between the hyomandibula, quadrate, and metapterygoid and it was iden- tified as ?metapterygoid by Arratia (1987a: 54, Fig. 25A).
