Our illustration, made from a photograph of a small plant, conveys a perfect idea of its symmetrical shape. It requires very little attention, and will grow and bloom in any sitting-room without being watered for a long time. Found on the mountains of Mexico, where it attains a size of 12 inches in diameter. The center of the plant, as shown in the cut, is covered with a dense wooly growth.
