Another of Captain Morgans descendants links Springfieldand Enfield to Hartford, where the late John Pierpont Morgan,1837-1913, erected the splendid memorial to his father, JuniusSpencer Morgan, which is the chief ornament of the city. Also recorded in the inscriptions is John Alden, of theMayflower. The Alden family is already commemorated inEnfield by Aldens Corner, at the north end of Enfield street,just as the Allen family is commemorated at the south end byAllens Corner. 60.
