A ragweed plant grows along the Washington Beltway in DC.

A ragweed plant flourishes at the junction of 274 and 95 on the Washington beltway. As global CO2 levels rise, due in part to automobile and truck omissions, ragweed is projected to produce significantly more pollen resulting in greater suffering for people allergic to the major fall allergen.
