Museum of town of Split is situated in the centre of town, inside the perimeters of Diocletian's Palace. Papalic Palace, the edifice where Museum is situated has been built throughout 13yh till 19th century. In lunetta above the door there is a master piece of stone reliefs made by famous renaissance artist Giorgio da Sebenico (Juraj Dalmatinac)
